New Parks Coming to Dorchester County

Rosebrock Park

Location: 213 Forest Circle Summerville, SC 29483

Rosebrock park will have new trails and permanent restrooms once improvements are complete. There is also a possibility that Rosebrock Park will be connected to the Ashley River Park. This modification will turn both parks into one 150 acre park.

Ashley River Park

Location: Proposed location on the Ashley River near Rosebrock Park

This park will be constructed in 2 phases. First phase will include amenities such as a dog park and picnic shelters. The second phase may possibly have an amphitheater and other large amenities.

Courthouse Park

Location: Proposed park next to the Courthouse in St. George

This will be a 5-10 acre park that will consist of a baseball/softball field, multi-use field, tennis courts, walking loop, basketball courts, playground, restrooms, and shelters.

Pine Trace

Location: Proposed to be off of Miles Jamison in Summerville, SC

This park will include shelters, trails, and a disc golf course.

Bridlewood Farms

Location: Proposed to be in Ridgeville near Bridlewood Farms neighborhood

This park will include sports fields, athletic courts, restrooms, a playground, and walking loop.

Eagle Run Park

Location: Proposed to be located on Old Fort Drive Extension

This park is planned to have the only BMX bike track in the area. Other amenities include trails, athletic courts, shelters, playground, and restrooms.
