Local Business Spotlight for January 2022 is Swank Desserts

I am starting off 2022 with your sweet tooth in mind! My Local Business Spotlight for this month is Swank Desserts!

 

Swank Desserts, located at 110 A South Cedar Street in Summerville, is where you’ll find Johnson & Wales trained Chef extraordinaire, Danetra. With a degree in Culinary Arts and a love for Hospitality and Management, she soon found herself yearning to open her own business selling decadent sweet treats. Eventually she landed a job at the Ocean Club on Kiawah where she was allowed to learn and grow as a pastry chef. She used that opportunity to hone her skills and discover her own style. Now, at Swank Desserts, she brings that same knowledge and uniqueness to every dessert she creates.

 

What makes Swank Desserts different from the rest?

 

Passion for the artistry involved in creating pastries. Made from scratch with fresh ingredients. No mass produced cakes and pastries here. Only handcrafted desserts with carefully selected flavors and designs will do!

If you are looking for a run of the mill cake and quality doesn’t matter, look elsewhere. If you are looking for an insanely delicious cake that will leave guests wanting more and asking where it came from, then Swank Desserts is your choice. And how could I neglect to mention the macarons!
